I presume that you are using Samplitude Music Stuidio and not Samplitude Pro, correct? I presume that your iRig is connected through a USB port, correct? Did any software driver come with it? You should have started a new thread as this one was quite old. But I'm now in Samplitude, and cannot get the vocal on as no monitor facility My music track is all done. sounding great. I have wasted hours of my life trying to record this song. I watched the videos but they gloss over these crucial details and do not help at all. tried phoning and they do not want to talk to customers at all. They gave me a response 'ticket' days ago. please help someone!! Magix just will not respond or get back to me. soon buying a new more powerful PC and want to buy the new samplitude but if I can't use my mic and Irig Pro with it I will choose another DAW. I tried using ASIO4ALL and it won't even give me playback. very hard to make a professional vocal if you cannot monitor. the monitor button tells me it will only work with ASIO. which means I cannot hear my voice as I am singing.

much better quality if I use MME rather than ASIO and as I say, neither lets me monitor my vocal. ? I got as far as (after three days) getting a sound. headphones / speakers etc) it just says "high def audio device" is this because my PC is too old, or 'cause I'm using Samplitude 2014, or just that it won't work. however, I did not get a list like yours, of options. from there I got the box with the spanner etc. I wondered if you might be able to clarify? I tried the ASIO driver and then went to the box you describe by pressing 'y' key to get the mdii options dialogue.
